Sounds of steam locomotives recorded on tourist lines and on the mainline between 2015 and 2019.
Climb aboard as "we ride the blinds," or aboard the back of a steam locomotive's tender. Two extended recordings present the sounds of riding in a place that was popular (if extremely dangerous) with hobos back in the day. One presents a simulated branchline passenger train, while the second simulates a local freight going about its work.
This CD was recorded during Norfolk & Western 4-8-4 #611's runs out of Roanoke to Lynchburg and Walton, Virginia, in 2016 and 2017. This title was originally released in 2016, and the new edition is re-edited and expanded with new material.

This CD features highlights of the recordings we made in the field between 1998 adn 2016.
